FIELD: tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to percussion tools for chipping ice and tightly compact snow. Device includes a housing, rotation drive arranged on the housing and connected with the gear wheel of the gear rack gear, return compression spring and working member. Gear wheel is made with at least one section which does not engage with the toothed rack. Return compression spring, gear rack and working member are sequentially installed in the guides of the housing with the possibility of axial movement and interaction. Working element has a sharpened part extending beyond said housing and axial movement stoppers in both directions. Weight of the working element is less than the weight of the gear rack.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability.
