SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging equipment, namely to devices for packaging various objects (products, items, goods) by packaging (wrapping) them in a packaging (wrapping) material, mainly in a stretchable polymer film, also called a stretch film. Such devices are used for packing objects (products) to be transported in order to ensure ease of transportation and protect their surfaces from contamination and damage. The specified effect is achieved due to the fact that the orbital device for packaging includes a central holder and a gearbox, made with the possibility of connection with the support, and the central holder passes through the hollow output shaft of the gearbox, which is connected to at least one lever for placing a reel with packaging material, at least one guide is installed on the holder, configured to hold the packaged item.

EFFECT: increasing automation and packaging speed while simplifying and improving design reliability.
