SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises the steps that follow. Bearing frame is installed with possibility of linear movement on guide of holder for reel with packing material. Note here that said bearing frame is equipped with retaining element, at least one gripper and at least one device for manual control over packing material tension. Element is made with possibility of arrangement of reel with packing material on it. As a manual control of the material tension there used is a means of contact with the packing material or a means of braking the reel when winding up the packing material. In process of packing material unwinding, bearing frame is held by hand by grip. Same hand actuates the packing material tension manual control means so that the packing material tension degree is changed frictionally, in the process of which the reverse force is transferred to the hand. As a means of contact with the packaging material, a hook or a clamp from the outside to the reel is used.

EFFECT: higher quality of packaging due to increased functionality.
