FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method of scheelite concentrate development by NaOH solutions in open vessels without autoclaves. Method involves preliminary mechanical treatment of source material and further treatment of activated material by the said solution. Preliminary mechanical treatment is performed to achieve a total energy of at least 16 kJ/mol of scheelite, assimilated in the form of coherent scattering area surface and microstrains, according to assessment of deformation degree of scheelite crystal lattice. Further treatment is performed with 20 % NaOH solution at 100 °C for 3 hours.
EFFECT: increased extraction.
