FIELD: tungsten pyrohydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tungsten pyrohydrometallurgy, in particular, to a technology for extracting tungsten from scheelite CaWO4 and wolframite FeWO4 and MnWO4 concentrates in the form of compounds that are commercial products, in particular, tungsten oxide WO3. Tungsten concentrate is treated in the temperature range of 350-420°C for 3.0-3.5 hours at a mass ratio of concentrate: ammonium bifluoride: ammonium sulfate equal to 1:1.5-2.0:3.5-4.0, followed by cooling of the obtained product and its leaching by dissolving in water at S:L equal to 1:25, after which the insoluble precipitate is washed with an acidified aqueous solution.
EFFECT: method allows to simplify and reduce the number of processing steps while obtaining a high quality commercial product.
