SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods for identifying geolocation. Method involves: obtaining information on the route, connected to the route of the electronic device from the first point of geographic location to the second point of geographic location; identifying a plurality of points of the route; for a certain point of the plurality of points of route: receiving the status of the first sensor from the first sensor, which indicates geographic location of the electronic device; identifying the geographic location of this particular point of the plurality of the route points on the basis of the geographic location of the electronic device; receiving the status of the second sensor from the second sensor that is connected to a specific location-based manoeuvre at this point on the route; comparing of the status of the second sensor with a predetermined condition of the second sensor for the given route point and a specific location-based maneuver; determining of deviation of the first electronic device from the route at this route point if the status of the second sensor differs from the predefined status of the second sensor.

EFFECT: high accuracy of locating a device.
