SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in optical communication systems. For this purpose, passive fibre-optic module containing inside module: a) one or more fibre-optic functional units of telecommunication network with possibility of optical connection by means of optical fibre to central unit of communication network to receive telecommunication signals intended for one or more users via optical fibre from central communication network unit and characterized by fact, that module additionally contains inside module, b) transceiver to generate first optical signals using electric energy and having possibility of receiving response optical signals from central communication network unit with possibility of optical connection to optical fibre so, that first optical signals can be transmitted via optical fibre to central station of communication network and so that mating optical signals can be transmitted via optical fiber from central communication network unit to transceiver.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of transmission capacity.
