SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation or analysis of materials, including organophosphorus substances (OPS), by determining their chemical or physical properties, namely by separation of samples of materials into components using adsorption, absorption, chromatography and mass spectrometry, and more specifically to methods for identification and quantitative determination of organophosphorus substances by chromatography-mass spectrometry. Method for non-standard estimation of amount of organophosphorus substance in a sample comprises preparation of analysed sample, placing prepared sample into an evaporator of a chromatograph, separation of sample in a chromatographic capillary column, detecting signal of mass-spectrometer detector and plotting a calibration curve. When plotting calibration curve, dependence of mass-spectral characteristic of detector with a cylindrical ion trap on weight of analysed organophosphorus substance is determined. Further, method includes identifying ranges of mass for typical ions with mass numbers, equal to [M+1]+ and [2M+1]+, where M is molecular weight of substance, as well as for ion, which is a typical ion for analysed in organophosphorus substance using ionising by electron impact. Method then includes establishing in each mass range correlation relationship between change in intensity of mass of non-typical ions of given mass range and weight. Further, amount of substance in sample is estimated using established correlation relationship.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of a mobile chromatography-mass-spectrometer and safer analysis process due to a lower risk of poisoning of chemical laboratory personnel with toxic organophosphorus substances during calibration of detector.
