FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device includes gas collection bell with pipes installed at its long sides and in the corner part and interconnected by pipelines, and connected by via header to a case system of gas treatment by flue drains of electrolytic cell; and air feed orifices; height ratio of pipes at the long sides and in the corner part of gas collection bell is 1:(2-5). Orifices of air feed to combustion zone are made in the side walls of pipes at a height equal to at least a half of pipe base length.
EFFECT: complete afterburning of anodic gases emitted under the device without intensive pipeline wear and blocking or anode burnout.
