SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, specifically to production method of metal and composite workpieces from sheet materials. Preheated sheet material is wound on mandrel, made from material, which linear expansion factor is not less than wound on it layers material linear expansion factor. At that, outer layer is made from material, which linear expansion factor is not more than inner layers linear expansion factor. Material ends are secured and performing wound layers sintering. At that, wound into roll sheet material winding, is carried out with tension of 0–40 % of wound material permissible stresses at rate of 0.2–20 rpm. After winding wound layers are heated and sintered again. At that, winding speed is selected under condition of provision every next layer temperature exceeding previous layer temperature.
