FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. The technical result of the proposed car safety system is increasing protaction efficiency for pedestrians and road user when they collide with the forecarriage and its external air bag which resists constructively to the pedestrian's (road user's) movement to the left of this car under the vehicle running on the adjacent lane and through the car roof backward under the vehicle running behind. This technical result is achieved in such a way that the external gas-filled air bag from the outer damping area, in the car safety system containing a set of the car overload sensors and a control module connected electrically to the actuators of the gas generators and an external air bag inflating from under the hood and covering the car windshield with the front struts and the leading roof edge, with the opening opposite the driver's seat, has a board on the left edge, the lateral right surface of which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the car and perpendicular to the road plane, and on the upper edge - a board connected to the said one, the front and the rear surfaces of which are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the car.
EFFECT: invention provides a passive safety of pedestrians and road users traveling on two-wheeled vehicles, when they collide with the forecarriage.
