FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for monitoring of movements of luminescent particles in sample. Method of monitoring of movements of luminescent particles in sample involves formation of light beam, intensity distribution in which has at least direction of said beam on sample so, that particle is found in area of minimum intensity, photon detection, which are emitted by investigated particle, and movement of beam on sample so, that number of particle emitted photons remains minimum. Device for monitoring of movement of particles in sample consists of light source forming beam with required intensity distribution, detector recording photons emitted by investigated particle and generating signal containing information on number of detected photons and means of beam deviation.
EFFECT: monitoring of movements of luminescent particles in sample.
