SUBSTANCE: invention relates to semi-transparent photocathode (1) for a photodetector having higher degree of absorption while saving the transfer degree. According to the invention, photocathode (1) comprises transmission grating (30) for photons diffraction located in substrate layer (10) coated with photoemission layer (20).
EFFECT: technical result is the increase in quantum yield of the photocathode.
