FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment and concerns a photoemission profilometer of a laser beam. Profilometer includes a vacuum flask, a thin-film photocathode of a spherical shape, an anode, a voltage source which creates a potential difference between the thin-film photocathode and anode, a luminophor and a position-sensitive detector. Between the thin-film spherical photocathode and the phosphor there is a deflector with an electric field. Luminophor and the position-sensitive detector are shifted relative to the axis of the laser beam so that laser radiation does not fall on the luminophor and the position-sensitive detector, which are set normally to the photoelectron beam.

EFFECT: increase in the measurements accuracy.
