FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for drying grain of different crops. Grain drying method consists in spreading grain along a surface in one solid layer, the height being maximum one layer. Then the surface is divided into an even number of sections, while the odd-numbered sections are heated. Grain is continuously turned over. Air is passed through the layer of grain only at even-numbered sections, its temperature being 16…25 °C and relative humidity – not more than 60 %.
EFFECT: use of contact grain heating method and alternation of cycles of heating and cooling provides a higher quality of drying.
