FIELD: image processing means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing a three-dimensional image data. Device comprises: an indicator generator configured able to generate a graphic form in a three-dimensional image data for providing during displaying on a 3D display the viewer with a position indicator graphically representing the relative position of two different views from a series of views within the series of views, herewith the graphic form contains: (i) a reference form for a graphic representation of the reference position of the reference view within the series of views and (ii) a positioning form for a graphic representation of the current position of two different views from a series of views within the series of views, and where the graphic form is placed in the three-dimensional image data for providing during displaying on the 3D display the viewer with the reference part and the positioning part of the position indicator having relative spatial levelling, which graphically represents the relative position of the two different views from the series of views within the series of views.

EFFECT: technical result is providing a stereoscopic view with a smaller number of artefacts.
