SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a display processor for 3D display. Display processor for obtaining original images from 3D image data, deriving derived images from original images, and generating a first series of images comprising derived images; and obtaining further original images from 3D image data and generating a second series of images comprising further original images, or obtaining further original images from 3D image data, deriving further derived images from further original images and generating second series of images comprising further derived images and at least one of further original images, with a number of first said derived images being larger than number of further derived images relative to a total number of images in each respective series of images.
EFFECT: high quality of displaying 3D image data on 3D display.
