FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of an impeller from a composite material and to the impeller. Technical result is enabled by a method of producing an impeller from a composite material with cavities for the flow passage having an erosion-resistant coating. Method includes providing templates having a shape corresponding to negative geometry of the cavities for the flow passage. Coating the templates with an erosion-resistant layer. Molding a composite material around the templates coated with the erosion-resistant layer in accordance with a preset geometry of the impeller. Hardening the composite material. And removal of the templates in such a way, that in the cavities for the flow passage in the impeller from the composite material the erosion-resistant coating remains.
EFFECT: technical result is better erosion resistance of the impeller.
