FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: sector element of a disk filter comprising two side plates, each plate is made out of permeable porous ceramics, and a center plate out of polymer material. The side plates are rigidly associated with the central plate, wherein each side plate creates cavities in form of channels, at least some of channels is directed radially from external plane of the sector element. The center plate can comprise a cellular construction directed perpendicular to the contact plane of the center plate and any side plate, wherein the cellular construction is hermetically covered at both sides. In preferable case the center plate I made out of polymer material. Some channels can have tangential or concentric direction.
EFFECT: increased strength of the sector element without increasing the ceramic plates thickness and weight.
