FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum disc filters intended for separation of liquid and particles suspended therein and can be used in ore dressing processes. Sector element comprises a plate and a drain connector, connected to each other by mutually complementing contact surfaces. Plate of sector element of disk filter has two parallel to each other side surfaces and small end surface, which in operational position of plate faces the side of disk filter. Side surfaces of the plate are formed by external surfaces of side walls made of water-permeable porous ceramics and arranged so that between their inner surfaces there is a sealed gap. On the edge section of the plate adjacent to its small end surface there is a recess having a surrounding contact surface, through which a sealed gap is opened. Female contact surface intersects with both lateral surfaces and with a small end face surface to form an open gap in a small end surface. Female contact surface is characterized by the fact that there is a section of female contact surface made parallel to side surfaces, which has a section on which the secant straight line perpendicular to the straight line, which connects the ends of this section, crosses this section more than once. Drain connector comprises appropriate male contact surface.

EFFECT: strength of fixation of drain connector on plate with provision of compactness of sector element in axial direction of disk filter.
