FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry. Method involves synthesis of MgAl-NO3-SDH, thermal breakdown with a heating rate of 10 °C/min and holding at temperature 500°C for 1 hour. Product of thermal decomposition cooled to room temperature is mixed with aqueous solution of glycine. Content of glycine is 1.5 times greater than number of interlayer anions in terms of initial MgAl-NO3-SDH. Obtained mixture is left for 48 hours at room temperature for lamination.
EFFECT: recovery of hydrotalcite structure is realised by reacting with an aqueous solution containing required number of anions, number of which is 1,5 times greater than number of interlayer anions in terms of initial MgAl-NO3-SDH with subsequent maintenance for 48 hours at room temperature.
