SUBSTANCE: invention relates to handle (1a-1g), in particular, for personal hygiene item, for example, toothbrush, and to elongated handle producing method. Toothbrush comprises gripping part (4a-4g), neck (3a-3g) and head (2a-2g). Handle (1a-1g) contains first and second thermoplastic material components (7, 8). First and second thermoplastic material components (7, 8) have common injection point (10), located outside mold detachment line (12), formed as a result of mold detachment. Handle has through hole (11) and in through hole area handle (1a-1g) is divided into two or more branches (6c-6g), which are connected in one body and, so, cover through hole (11). In method of long handle making injection molding by hot-runner casting in mold is applied. At that, common forming mold cavity for injection molding through common injection point (10) at least two thermoplastic material components are injected. Method stages are injection molding of first component, cooling in molding cavity, injection molding of second component and formation at that of first component flowing core and its surrounding with second component. Two branches are formed.

EFFECT: technical result provided when using disclosed group of inventions, consists in using two or more thermoplastic material components, in specified manner located in handle, for example, toothbrush for enabling of handle functional purpose.
