FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing a colour image. Proposed are: a device for chromaticity adjustment, an image reproducing device and a chromaticity control method for adjustment of the colour of the colour image to provide easier distinction of objects presented on the image. Parameter determines the range of saturation to be adjusted at saturation prior to adjusting chromaticity, and the range of changing saturation after adjustment of colours in comparison with the saturation prior to the colour control. Colour adjustment device calculates the saturation basing on the image signal, calculates the saturation after the colour adjustment in accordance with the saturation prior to adjusting chromaticity, for the saturation within the range defined by the parameter to increase/decrease by a value defined by the parameter, and generates an image signal basing on the saturation after changing the colour. When entering the parameter, with which the difference in saturation between the specified colours is increased after adjustment of the chromaticity, the colour difference for multiple objects on the image will be increasing.

EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of adjustment of colours of a colour image to facilitate distinguishing shown on the image objects.
