FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: implant comprises a substrate of carbon-carbon material, provided with at least one channel filled with the drug, and the substrate is formed of carbon-carbon material comprising a pyrocarbon matrix and a multidirectional reinforcing frame made of rods formed by carbon fibers located along the rod axis. The structure of some preselected rods, the rods of one, several or all directions of reinforcement included in the reinforcing frame, comprises one or more wires made of metal and/or metal carbide from the group comprising titanium, niobium, tantalum, tungsten, molybdenum or their alloys, total volume of which is 0.1-100% of the rod volume; wires are oriented along the rod axis. This invention provides creation of an implant for surgical treatment of inflammatory and tumour diseases of spine, which has mechanical properties similar to bone properties, and is useful in operations due to the implant radiopacity, and facilitates observation of the patient during the postoperative period using X-ray diagnostic methods.
EFFECT: creation of an implant, which allows to simplify the technology and improve the replacement reliability during surgical treatment of spine diseases.
