FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endocrinology, and can be used to predict the risk of type 2 diabetes development. Clinical and medical history: BWI, WC, AH, diabetes of close relatives. Laboratory data are determined: TG, HDLPC, readings of systolic and diastolic, blood sugar levels. Evaluation of the obtained data in points and totalizing. When the total is less than 8 points, a low degree of risk of type 2 diabetes is predicted for the next 10 years. When the total is greater than or equal to 8 points, a high degree of risk of type 2 diabetes development is predicted.
EFFECT: prediction method, which allowing the most accurate determination of the risk of type 2 diabetes development for the next 10 years based on assessment of the most significant indicators.
