FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. Spatula to remove blood during LASIK operation consists of holding and operating parts. Thus the operating part is formed as a convex strip sheet with a working surface on the strip end, and the holding part of the handle serving as a continuation of the convex operating part is placed in its plane. At that, the operating surface length exceeds cornea diameter.
EFFECT: device for fast and efficient removal of blood from the corneal flap during LASIK operations.
