FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology. Corneal flap injuries are treated with a microkeratome in the process of LASIK or Femto Lasik keratorefractive surgery. After the flap is damaged, it is repositioned into the stromal bed and instillation of antimicrobial drops, 0.1% dexamethasone and SPHERO-oko epithelium protector every 3 minutes, 2 drops. After the instillations, a soft contact lens with SPHERO-oko preparation applied on its surface is put on the cornea. On 2nd day, the contact lens is removed, and the instillation regimen is continued for 14 days 4–5 times a day. In a particular case, the antimicrobial drops used are 0.5% moxifloxacin or 0.5% levofloxacin. If the flap is damaged in the form of a full section or a thin flap or decentration is formed, excimer laser ablation is carried out in accordance with the design program.
EFFECT: method provides improved corneal regeneration with reduced length of postoperative rehabilitation and increased effect of repeated keratorefractive surgery.
