FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery. Valve-containing prosthesis of the pulmonary artery is made. To this end, a tubular body is formed, which is obtained by cutting it from a polytetrafluoroethylene blank of the prosthesis. Polytetrafluoroethylene flaps of the valve with bases and locking elements are formed. Valve flaps are cut out of polytetrafluoroethylene patch and anchored by bases to outer surface of turned inside out tubular body. In the wall of the tubular body at equal distance from each other there are three through cuts in the area of valve commissures. Edges of the tubular body are straightened and commissures are fixed outside the tubular body in three separate sutures at equal distance from each other. Edge of the base of each valve flap sutured to the tubular body is made in the form of an arc, the chord of which is equal to the chord of arc-shaped edge of the locking element, having thickness of 0.1 mm. Length of the arch of the edge of the locking element is not less than 1/3 of the length of the arch of the base of the valve flap sutured to the tubular body having thickness of 0.64 mm. Said method is used to produce prosthesis of pulmonary artery with three-leaf valve.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables reducing the risk of thrombosis and calcification by increasing the biocompatible properties of the cardiovascular graft with a tricuspid valve and simplifying the process of making the prosthesis with leaflets of optimum geometric shape.
