FIELD: medicine; cardiovascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: when manufacturing a single-leaved prosthesis, its base is obtained by cutting out a flap of the chemically stabilized xenopericard and cutting a “window” in it, corresponding in its shape and size to the venous leaf, which is obtained by cutting from the chemically stabilized main vein of the cattle a fragment containing leaves of the venous valve, with subsequent dissection of the venous wall along the axis of the vessel and cutting out a section of the wall together with a leaf suitable by a width and a height. A width of the base of the single-leaved prosthesis, using which the pulmonary artery trunk is expanded, should be equal to half a circumference length of a newly formed trunk of a necessary diameter, taking into account allowance for suturing with a surgical suture to edges of the incision of the excretory part of the right ventricle and the pulmonary trunk.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows for improvement of hemodynamic characteristics of the valve, providing adequate blood circulation from the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery with normal and increased loads without significant regurgitation and reduction in the risk of dilatation on the valve, elimination of the risk of thrombosis.
