FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology and can be used for purification of natural reservoirs polluted by oil and refinement products thereof. Proposed is a sorbent for purification of natural waters and soil from oil pollution and a method for production thereof. Sorbent for purification of natural waters and soil from oil pollution comprises a sorbent-carrier and a cell culture. As a sorbent carrier, diatomite chips are used, and as a cell culture, a consortium of microorganisms – strains is used RHODOCOCCUS RHODOCHROUS VKPM V – 3043, PSEUDOMONAS PUTIDA VKPM V – 1827, ACINETOBACTER CALCOACETICUS VKPM V – 5971, ALCALIGENES SP VKPM V – 5269. Sorbent for purification of natural waters and soil from oil pollution is produced in following ratio of components, wt. %: diatomite chips – 85–92, consortium of microorganisms – 8–15. Method for producing a sorbent for purification of natural waters and soil from oil pollution consists in preliminarily burning the diatomite chips at a temperature of 600–800 °C. After cooling, a consortium of microorganisms consisting of said strains is sprayed on the diatomite chips. Sprayed granules are mixed in the granulator at a speed of 30 to 40 Hz when the bowl is tilted from 40 to 50 degrees until lumps and wet zones disappear. After that, the granules are dried at a temperature of 15 to 25 °C.

EFFECT: inventions provide increased efficiency of purification of natural reservoirs from oil and efinement products thereof.
