FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to images processing. Image processing system for enabling a user to navigate through image data comprises: an image device comprising a display and an orientation sensor for measuring an orientation of image device with respect to a reference orientation and for providing rotation data indicative of a device rotation of image device; means for establishing a center of rotation in the image data; and an image processor for establishing views of image data in relation to device rotation by: (i) receiving rotation data from orientation sensor, (ii) establishing a view rotation in relation to device rotation and (iii) establishing current view in dependence on view rotation around center of rotation with respect to a reference view; means for establishing center of rotation comprises means for detecting a region of interest and establishing center of rotation in dependence on region of interest.

EFFECT: possibility of rotation around a region of interest in image data by rotating image device.
