FIELD: physics, instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrument engineering and relates to a laser gyroscope with compensation of the component introduced by the vibrating support. Laser gyroscope (LG) comprises a ring laser (RL), a vibrating supprt device, RL signal processing unit, with the output connected to the compensation unit, RL relative torsional oscillation parameters sensor in the form of electro-optical system of RL position determination. The electro-optical system includes a semiconductor laser, a diffraction grating, a polarizing beam splitter, a reflecting mirror, a collimator, a quarter-wave plate, a focusing lens and an optical transparency with measuring marks mounted on the RL. In the reverse path from the beam splitter a cylindrical lens and a multiareal photodetector are subsequently mounted. Moreover, the LG contains a light spot size automated control unit, a quadrature signals generator and a quadrature signal conversion unit.

EFFECT: invention provides simplified design, increased reliability and accuracy.
