FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrument making and concerns a laser gyroscope with compensation of a component introduced by a vibration stand (hereinafter – VS). A method for compensation of motion of VS of the laser gyroscope consists in that output signals of an annular laser (hereinafter – AL) and a position sensor come to a converter, in which signals are converted into a digital form. Converted signals come from the converter to a compensator, in which, at moments of reception of information about an angular position of the laser gyroscope, the component introduced by VS is subtracted from the absolute angular position of AL relatively to reference points determined by the position sensor in positions, at which the component introduced by VS is absent taking into account delay of a signal of the position sensor from AL motion. At the same time, patterns of oscillations of AL and parameters of the laser gyroscope are used: period and amplitude of oscillations of AL, time of delay of motion of the position sensor from AL motion, time between a zero position of the position sensor, corresponding to change in sign of amplitude from negative to positive, and a required moment of reception of information about the angular position of the laser gyroscope. The laser gyroscope contains AL with VS, a position sensor, a converter, to which output signals from AL and the position sensor come. At the same time, a compensator is additionally introduced, to which converted signals come from the converter, while the compensator includes a cycle generator, a counter, two quadrature counters, six capturing units, a phase shift unit, and an arithmetic unit.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of free-from inertial navigation systems (FINS) based on laser gyroscopes.
