FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sound-absorbing element comprises a perforated and a smooth surface, between which a layer of the sound-absorbing material of a complex form is located. The latter is an alternation of solid and hollow sections. The hollow sections are formed by the prismatic surfaces having a form of a parallelogram in the section parallel to the drawing plane, the internal surfaces of which have a rack structure. The teeth tops are directed inward the prismatic surfaces, and the edges of the prismatic surfaces are fixed respectively on the perforated and the smooth walls. The cavities of the hollow sections, formed by the prismatic surfaces, are filled with the sound absorber. The resonant plates with the resonant inserts performing functions of the resonator necks "Helmholtz", are located between the smooth surface and the continuous layer sections of the sound-absorbing material of a complex shape and between the perforated surface and the solid sections.
EFFECT: noise suppression performance and design reliability, as a whole, are increased.
