FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial acoustics and can be used for machine drive noise reduction, for lining of manufacturing facilities and for other sound-absorbing structures. Single-piece sound absorber comprises a smooth cylindrical and perforated cylindrical surface between which cylindrical insert of sound-absorbing material of complex shape, which is an alternating solid and hollow sections is and coaxially arranged. Hollow sections are formed by prismatic surfaces that are in their cross-section parallel to the plane of the drawing, have the shape of a parallelogram, whose inner surface has a toothed or wavy structure. Tops of the teeth face inside the prismatic surfaces, and the edges of the prismatic surfaces are fixed respectively on the smooth and perforated walls. Cavities of hollow sections, formed by prismatic surfaces, are filled with a sound absorber. Between the smooth surface and solid sections of the layer of sound-absorbing material of a complex shape, as well as between the perforated surface and solid areas, there are resonant plates with resonant inserts that perform the functions of the throats of the Helmholtz resonators.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of sound attenuation and reliability of the structure.
