FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the medicine, particularly, to the pediatric cardiology, and pediatrics. A two-dimensional echocardiographic myocardial examination with the speckle motion study and parallel electrocardiogram recording are performed. The examination areas are highlighted on the pictures (obtained from the parasternal position) of the left ventricle at the level of its basis and the middle third according to the short heart axis. Each examination area is divided to the lower, rear, lateral, and front anterior-septal and septal segments, in which the average parameters of a regional radial deformation at the moment of systole are determined. The averaged parameters of the regional radial deformation are obtained separately for examined segments of the basis and he middle third of the left ventricle. At the value of at least one of them less than 20%, the myocardial failure is diagnosticated.
EFFECT: method of the early, accurate, and integral diagnosis of the myocardial failure; prevention of complications caused by the application of MRT requiring radiation exposure of a patient, usage of a contrast medium having side effects; extension of diagnostic capabilities by means of increasing of a cohort of patients being examined, which have an electric card stimulator and/or a cardioverter defibrillator.
