FIELD: pharmacy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing reduced form of coenzyme Q10, including (i) reduction of the oxidized form of coenzyme Q10 by preparing a coenzyme Q10 saturated ethanolic solution with dissolved coenzyme Q10 and ascorbic acid at their weight ratio of 1:0.5-2 in the presence of undissolved molten coenzyme Q10 at the temperature of 50-70°C with the addition of the catalyst - ions Cu2+ ; (ii) inhibiting the reaction by the addition of complexing compound with Cu2+ ; (iii) cooling the mixture, the precipitation and crystallization of the reduced form of coenzyme Q10 as a white sediment; (iv) repeated flushing of the obtained sediment with water; (v) filtration under nitrogen flow; (vi) drying.

EFFECT: obtaining the reduced coenzyme Q10 in the form of the storage stable chemically pure substance, suitable for medical and other applications.
