FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the loading measurement, increase of the pump speed at loading drop to a certain value and the work continuation at the initial pump speed, when the threshold parameter value, characterizing the supply restore, is reached. As a parameter, characterizing the supply restore, the ratio of the useful power to the motor efficiency value is used. Increase of the pump speed is performed smoothly with specified pace, depending on the maximum allowable and current pump speed and the allowable time of the "dry" pumping without causing irreversible effects. If impossible to restore the parameter the gas discharge into the annulus is provided, by reducing the pump speed to a value minimum for this plant and at the parameter restore proceed working at the initial speed.
EFFECT: higher operating efficiency of the well by selecting optimal pump speed changes parameters.
