FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the removal of the current supply pins of internal rows during the technological support on the electrolyser, in the projection of which the most developed fractures, holes and cavities are represented, to achieving the ratio of the pins number in the internal and external rows (0.98…0.88): 1. Said pins are not installed in the future.
EFFECT: improving the electrolyser performance due to reducing the losses from the reverse oxidation of the aluminium produced by means of the interpolar gap stabilization and the reduction of energy consumption and labour costs for the electrolyser maintenance.
