FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves continuously extracting all pins disposed in lower layer of coal body and positioning these pins onto upper layer in one stage, with pins being positioned in upper layer in case lower end of pins has temperature within the range of 75-350 C. EFFECT: increased efficiency of method by eliminating preparatory operation in the process of repositioning pins and reduced specific power consumption by positioning pins in upper layer only in case they have temperature within predetermine range. 1 tbl
