FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to arrangement method of anode pins on electrolyser for fabrication of aluminium with self-baking anode and upper current lead. In arrangement method of anode pins, average minimum distance from lower horizon of peripheral anode pins to the bottom of anode on electrolyser with self-baking anode and upper current lead is less by 5-25 cm than distance from lower horizon of central anode pins to the anode bottom. Number of horizons can vary from two to the number equal to the number of anode pins. Anode pins can have constant or variable section as to height. Shape of horizontal section of anode pin is rectangle, triangle, multangular, circle, ellipse, and it is not restricted with the above shapes. Anode pins can be of similar or various height.
EFFECT: decreasing electric energy consumption and output of coal froth.
