FIELD: formation of self- baking anodes. SUBSTANCE: mass with diminished content of dry binder is loaded into housing over entire surface of anode while forming anode with four-row arrangement of current leading pins. Before re-arrangement of pins of peripheral rows mass with enhanced content of binder ( fat mass ) is loaded in zones of anode located between longitudinal walls of housing and central rows of pins and the rest of surface is filled with dry mass. When re-arrangement is finished dry mass is again loaded on to entire surface of anode in the course of 4-6 days. After this fat mass is loaded into zone between peripheral rows of pins and dry mass is loaded on to the rest of anode and pins of central rows are re-arranged. Bulk of loaded fat mass amounts to 0.15- 0.35 bulk of dry mass loaded on to entire surface of anode during period between re- arrangement of pins. EFFECT: decreased ejection of resinous substances during formation of anode thanks to differentiated loading of anode mass with enhanced content of binder to fill holes formed with re-arrangement of pins. 1 cl
