METHOD FOR DETERMINING PATHOLOGICAL PROCESS ACTIVITY IN PATIENTS WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/49

Abstract RU 2613908 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology and immunology, in particular to laboratory diagnostics of multiple sclerosis. It is suggested to carry out analysis of lymphocytes by method of computer microelectrophoresis under conditions of alternating electromagnetic field with value of alternating current frequency 0.25 Hz, voltage 28 V. The total number of lymphocytes, quantity of immobile lymphocytes and average amplitude of fluctuations of mobile lymphocytes, and if quantity of immobile lymphocytes is less than 10% and average amplitude of fluctuations of mobile lymphocytes is within 8.0-11.0 mcm, exacerbation of pathological process is diagnosed. If quantity of immobile lymphocytes is 10% and higher, amplitude of fluctuations of mobile lymphocytes is within 5.0-7.0 mcm, remission of pathological process is determined.

EFFECT: application of the claimed method of examination contributes to early diagnostics of exacerbations of multiple sclerosis and prompt estimation of efficiency of performed therapeutic procedures.
