FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to determine activity of a pathological process in patients with multiple sclerosis. That is ensured by determining the average amplitude of lymphocyte oscillations by computer microelectrophoresis in alternating electromagnetic field conditions at 0.25 Hz alternating current frequency and 28 V voltage. Additionally, mean amplitude of erythrocyte oscillations and ratio of average amplitude of erythrocyte oscillations to average amplitudes of lymphocyte oscillations are determined. If ratio is 0.950–1.250, the aggravation of the pathological process is diagnosed. If ratio is 1.600–1.900, the remission of the pathological process is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides early diagnosis of exacerbations of multiple sclerosis and enables evaluating the effectiveness of the treatment in multiple sclerosis patients.
