METHOD OF PREDICTING EXACERBATIONS OF REMITTING MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2468370 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes method of predicting exacerbations of remitting multiple sclerosis (RMS), where blood is sampled from patients in the period from 6.00 to 9.00 a.m. and indices of NST of monocytes before and after stimulation with pyrogenal are determined, if values of NST-test are higher than 53% and if values of coefficient of NST-test of monocytes activation are lower than 1.5, exacerbation of RMS is predicted.

EFFECT: method is easily reproducible, objective and economical and reduces terms of performing laboratory analyses.
