FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: powder charge ignition method includes powder charge accommodation modules, and its ignition. The powder charge is designed consisting of two separated modules. The first module is mounted close to the opening for the flame force supply from the igniter to the charging chamber and fixed in the specified position. The second module is mounted close to the throwing object (TO). First, the first module is ignited, the second module is ignited by the ignitor combustion products and the first charge module. The powder ballistic installation comprises a barrel to house MO, powder charge made from two separated modules containing casings of combustible material, mounted in the charging chamber, the igniter. The first module is housed in a metal cup with a perforated bottom.
EFFECT: provision of stable conditions of powder charge ignition and lack of longitudinal oscillations of the throwing object design.
