FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to powder ballistic installations (PBI) that used as accelerating devices in test rigs for intensive mechanical loads. Controlling the gas inlet in PBI involves initiating a powder charge, installed in the charging chamber, followed by the beginning of the gas inlet in the charging chamber, acceleration of the thrown object (TO) in the trunk under the action of the combustion products of the powder charge. Charging chamber PBI is equipped with additional chamber with a powder charge, communicating through a check valve with a charging chamber. Initiation of a powder charge in an additional chamber is carried out, with its combustion products generate the initiation of the powder charge in the charging chamber. During the dispersal of the TO, cameras are disconnected. After the pressure in the additional chamber exceeds the pressure in the charging chamber, the cameras communicate and the combustion products flow from the additional chamber into the charging chamber.
EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is a reduction in the duration of the front of the buildup of pressure in the charging chamber while maintaining the fullness of the pressure diagram.
