FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: for screw propeller operation, the blades are mounted at a zero angle of attack to perform oscillatory movements in the form of reverse angular displacements relative to the rotation axis, the blades having a symmetrical shape with respect to the plane passing through the rotation axis and the axes of the blades. The propeller thrust force is determined by the blades oscillations frequency change or the magnitude of their angular displacements. The torsional oscillations generator of the screw propeller with adjustable power supplied to the propeller due to changing the propeller blades angular displacements, and the reverse angular displacements of the platform with the blades placed thereon are driven by means of the mechanical resonance device. The device is proposed for converting the rotation movement of the power plant into the reverse movement of the propeller blades with platforms adjusting the power supplied to the screw, by changing the displacements frequency of the screw blades.

EFFECT: irrotational operation mode of the propeller.
