FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Method of charging lithium-ion accumulator battery from n serially connected accumulators comprises controlling voltage of accumulators, disconnection of charge when voltage of any of accumulators reaches a specified maximum value and balancing, when charging accumulator battery, accumulators on voltage with charge on balancing resistors. Balancing resistors are connected parallel to accumulators through terminated contacts. When charge is turned on, accumulator with lowest current voltage is selected. On other accumulators contacts are closed in circuits of balancing resistors. Value of current voltage of each accumulator UTi is compared with current voltage of accumulator with initially open contact in circuit of balancing resistor UT0 and when UTi≤UT0, contact in circuit of balancing resistor of corresponding accumulator is opened.

EFFECT: invention improves reliability and simplifies method of operation of lithium-ion accumulator battery.
