FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention is referred to power supply methods for space vehicle. In order to provide power supply to the space vehicle joint operation of a solar battery and lithium-ion accumulator battery is ensured for on-board load, the accumulator battery is charged from the solar battery, main parameters are measured and controlled by on-board control system from on-board electronic computer, element-by-element control is conducted for voltage of accumulating cells in the accumulator battery and available discharge current. When discharge current appears accumulator balancing is stopped and when it disappears the balancing is continued.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of usage of lithium-ion batteries included into composition of the power supply system for low-altitude space vehicle.
